Brad Ruggieri, ACSM-CPT
HVF Fitness Professional Southern Dutchess
Brad has been involved in sports and fitness his entire life. Despite being active he constantly struggled to lose weight. After trying countless methods of weight loss he finally decided enough was enough so he educated himself about the proper way to exercise and eat. During this time he expanded his knowledge of fitness and was able to transform his body from 260 pounds and 28% body fat to 198 pounds and 10% body fat in approximately 6 months. This experience made Brad realized he had a great passion for Exercise Science, so he decided to get a formal education in the field.
Brad studied Exercise Science and Wellness at Dutchess Community College and received his Personal Training Certification from the American College of Sports Medicine. Soon after, he began working at Equinox Fitness in Manhattan. While at Equinox, Brad worked with clients trying to achieve a wide variety of goals such as weight loss, athletic performance enhancement, bodybuilding, improved health, etc.
Brad truly loves the fitness industry and wants nothing more than to help others who face the same challenges he once faced.
